Amélie Bonet for Indic Fonts

Amélie Bonet is an independent Typeface Designer and Font Engineer. She is specialized in extending Latin typefaces and logos to Indian writing systems, such as Devanagari, Bengali, Gujarati, Tamil or Oriya.

After studying at the University of Reading (UK) obtaining there a Master degree in Typeface Design, Amélie joined the Dalton Maag design team in 2010. As a Senior Designer, she was in charge of the Indic font development for clients such as Nokia, HP and Intel. Nokia Pure Bengali was notably awarded with the 3rd prize in the Indic category at the Granshan competition in 2014. Between 2015 and 2018, Amélie deepened her work experience with Indian fonts at Monotype, working for various in-house font extensions.
